Freid Pie catchers

The promise of a reasonable day got out to the bridges area for a look at the Pied flycatchers, my first visit this year, the Dipper and Grey wagtails performed as normal,, disappearing straight away, as did the sunshine and soon the rain was back with a vengeance as I located my first Male PiedAnd one that was a bit wary staying up in the canopy.

Eventually coming down to a level that made shooting more acceptable.

Even though the Gropper was reported as reeling at Pole cottage I could not re-locate it so another trip up the Mynd in the morning. left VP for supper and missed yet another Hobby DOH!
